The GFWC Varina Woman's Club was organized in 1970, and federated under the charter of the General Federation of Women's Clubs. The GFWC is an international women's organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. We are also a member of our state organization, General Federation of Women's Clubs-Virginia, and locally the Lee District.
Members participate in focused Community Service Programs, which include Arts, Conservation, Education, Health, Home Life, International Outreach, and Public Issues. They contribute their talents and interests and become involved in the many projects for the betterment of the Varina Community, as well as the state and national projects and programs.
